How it is made

The steps below decide how a pad behaves on the road, which is why we keep them in-house.
Friction mix
Fibres, binders, fillers and lubricants combined to a set formula.
Hot pressing
The mix is bonded onto a prepared steel backing plate under heat.
Grinding and chamfer
The friction face is ground flat and the edges chamfered to keep braking quiet.
Hardware
Shims and retaining clips fitted so the pad sits correctly in the caliper bracket.
